Receiving Private Professional Counseling in the La Pine Area has never been easier!

Craig Schlarb, Ph.D., LPC (OR 3088) is providing comprehensive mental health services for adults in the La Pine area at The La Pine Community Health Center. In this way people are now easily able to access professional private and confidential counseling services right in La Pine. I also provide services in the evening to flexibly meet those with day time demands. Counseling is also available for substance use/abuse for which most insurance plans cover. Our counseling sessions typically last 50 minutes and are $165. I accept First Choice, Pacific Source Commercial, Pacific Source Community Solutions, Open card and Fee for Service. A limited number of hours per week are offered on a sliding scale for those unable to afford the full fee and who show commitment to their work which slides down to what is affordable based on income. I work with you to make the payment for services as easy as possible.

Our first session or two is our comprehensive needs assessment of your wellbeing. Based upon this initial assessment we craft a realistic plan that we are accountable to each other for fulfilling. Our plan is flexible to meet on-going needs. I have successfully provided teletherapy for 15 of my 25 years in practice. Teletherapy can be surprisingly very effective given the pointed focus the phone provides. I manage a very full case load in which only rarely clients have felt the need to meet in person to reach their goals.
